We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

1. Receptionist ( Portlaoise)

We are looking to recruit a Receptionist to work in our Portlaoise dealership.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Meeting & greeting customers.
  • Answering Telephone and directing calls to the relevant personnel.
  • Liaising with external parties.
  • Sorting & distributing post.
  • Email management.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required.

Role Requirements:

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excel at understanding, anticipating and meeting customer needs.
  • Be efficient, with good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Work well as part of a team.
  • Be flexible in their approach to work.
  • Display a professional, courteous manner at all times.
  • Previous experience within the motor industry is desirable but not essential.

2. Trainee Accountant

You will report to the financial controller of the company. The position is located in Naas, Co. Kildare. This role will give a graduate a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience while training to become a qualified accountant within industry. Broad experience will be gained as well as relevant training and support to achieve an accounting qualification.

Knowledge/Skills/Education:

  • Candidate must have a relevant finance related degree.
  • Be interested in gaining an accountancy qualification.
  • A good working knowledge of excel.
  • Ability to work independently and to a deadline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles of Position:

Vehicle Management:

  • Ensuring the high volume of PC/ LCV sales are processed correctly.
  • High attention to detail when processing vehicle sales.
  • Cost – sales analysis.

Purchase Ledger:

  • Input of invoices on to accounts system and ensuring relevant authorisation and approval.
  • Monthly reconciliations to supplier statements.
  • Raising of supplier payments to be authorised.

Debtors Ledger:

  • Monitoring of aged debtors listings to ensure that credit terms are adhered to.
  • Communication with customers in relation to outstanding debt.
  • Allocation of receipts on accounts system to relevant customer ledger account.

Bank:

  • Input of payments and receipts.
  • Bank Reconciliation.

Accounts Preparation:

  • Assist in the monthly accounts preparation.
  • Variance analysis work on expenses.
  • As experience is gained, the opportunity will be given to gain more responsibility.
  • Other Ad hoc duties.

4. Qualified Motor Technicians: Naas & Portlaoise

We are currently seeking to recruit Fully Qualified Service Technicians to join our team.

Experienced mechanics should have dealer experience. Formal skills training with a recognised automotive organisation is essential.

Experienced technicians should be skilled in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing including diagnostics and electronics.

You must be able to produce high quality work in a busy environment and be motivated through set targets, showing flexibility according to the needs of your team.

You will be a committed individual with a positive, 'can do' attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team.

You will have good communication skills to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, making sure you liaise with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Carry out fault diagnosis, service, and repair.
  • Ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to workshop controller as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance.
  • Indicate to workshop controller possible future faults and repair requirements.
  • Ensure that quality procedures relating to the function laid down by the Company are adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure all procedures relating to service books and service, repair and warranty are carried out.
  • Maintain all records and paperwork relevant to the function, ensuring they are accurate and up to date at all times.
  • Issue customers with video of required work to be carried out on vehicle.
